Zelda Classic:

A free (open source) video game platform based on Zelda 1 with significant additions and upgrades (including graphics). Anybody can make their own Zelda quest, building worlds, and customizing as much as they want. The newer quests can utilize scripting to make just about anything possible. My quests predate the scripting being added to the program, so they are each still very much standard zelda games.

PureZC.net the best place for everything zelda classic. Download other people's quests, download components you can use, upload your creations.

The Legend of Zelda : The Nine Villages (2008) - My second quest. This one was somewhat infamous back in the day, mostly for being an enormous quest for its time. It was also a re-imagining of the Hyrule from both Zelda 1 and Zelda 2 combined, with a completely new adventure. Then there's the music, with about 80 songs taken from tons of classic video games. Last, it unique for the time, it had a complete walkthrough with maps and instructions. The Let's Plays of the game are 20 hours each, and not because of difficulty.

The Legend of Zelda : Link's Decision (2007) - My first quest, using original NES zelda 1 graphics. It was the very first quest to offer any sort of choice between character classes, or anything along those lines. Instead of Link getting every item, knight Link can't get the magical items and potions, and wizard Link can't get all the weapons and armor. Even some of the dungeons are different. The custom music (all from NES games) and the walkthrough were added much later.

Link's Decision 2 : Chronos the Tears of Fate (2010/2022) - My final quest. This one has four character classes using the same idea, knight wizard monk and thief. It involves Link exploring the same overworld three time periods centuries apart, more like Chrono Trigger than Ocarina of Time. The title is a reference to a famously bad movie, and before I could think of a better title, it became baked into the story. There's even a secret ending, much more difficult to reach than merely beating the game. There are two years because the mostly-finished version was lost in a crash in 2010, so I gave up on it, until I found it in a weird folder on a backup server around 2020 and slowly finished it.
